Also known as gibstopping, plastering is quite the art. Most people just can’t get the technique right to do a nice job.
True Quality Painters has the required set of skills and we find ourselves doing quite a lot of gibstopping through the insurance work we are asked to do.
We are almost our own worst enemies when it comes to gibstopping simply because we need it to be perfect. After all, we are usually the ones that will be painting it too and we know that the gibstopping needs to be flawless for the paint work to be perfect.
True Quality Painters are quite happy to plaster a room or two, but at this stage we aren’t looking for anything larger. We also don’t install cornices, decorative scotias or ceiling roses.
